Day Thirty-One | The End
Every breastfeeding story is one of a kind. We all have different expectations, different goals, different successes and different struggles; but I sincerely hope that we can all gain something from hearing each other’s stories. We all have made it through something and are on similar travels as women, as mothers and as breastfeeding advocates. I love telling each and every one of your stories and I plan to continue this project every year.
I want to thank every single family who participates in this project. Together we are able to give support and let other families know that they are not alone in anything they are going through. We get to come together and learn what worked for other families in a similar situation. Together we can learn about other trials and successes we have yet to witness ourselves. We are stronger together.
With each story always comes a photo session (unless we are sharing a beginning that was before we met). These sessions are always near and dear to my heart because you open your homes, or your neighborhoods to me in a sweet and intimate session. I know how private these moments can be, so I do always work to give you the perfect session for your family and then make sure that every image I share is seen by your eyes only until you approve them to be shared.
This year, in the 31 Days, 31 Stories Project we were able to share 30 stories from moms all over Colorado. I cannot wait to share more of your stories! Remember you can write them or I can after an interview. Either way your story is important, I’d love for you to share it with us.
Did you know that The Bond Project actually runs all year long? It shares stories of every family on their nourishing journey – breastfeeders, pumpers, formula feeders and every combination you can think of to feed your baby. I do believe that fed is best and that any way you choose to healthily nourish your baby is the right story for you. Please join the group, share the project and tag your friends or as always contact me to share your own story. Every journey matters.
